History

Creaciones Almamia S.A.S

was founded by Juliana Villa, fashion designer and professional model, who is currently the CEO of the company.

In 2009, Juliana graduated from the Colegiatura Colombiana in Fashion Design, where famous Colombian brands like Pinel and Leonisa, recognized her for the best creation in underwear and swimwear; This gave him the inspiration to start dreaming with AlmaMía.

In 2010, Juan Esteban Villa, Juliana's brother joined the group in the Marketing area. The same year, another five workers also arrived to the company, dedicated to the design, production and commercialization of swimwear, complements and beach accessories, with a very latin touch. In 2020, almaMía is one of the most recognized companies nationally and internationally, as it is one of the most important companies in the City at the category of exports.

The evolution of the brand

Has been remarkable, the first collection opened markets in Colombia, the United States and Venezuela. Now, almaMía can be found in places like Mexico, Russia, Guatemala, Costa Rica, the United States, Venezuela, Chile, Bélgica, Europa y Senegal.

The brand has debuted at world-class fashion fairs such as: ModeCity - Paris, Swimshow - Miami, CurvExpo - Las Vegas, Swim Collective - Los Angeles and Plataforma K - Colombia.

The designer and CEO Juliana Villa, puts her soul into each piece of Alma Mia, and this is why the designs reflect the personality of its creator. This is the reason for the brand name. Through the control of different suppliers, a strict selection of raw materials and the research and development of new fashion trends, almaMía guarantee that the final product has the highest quality.

The philosophy

almaMía garments are made in Medellín, Colombia. The designs are an explosion of creativity through the mix of fabrics, prints, color combinations, contrast stitching, laser cuts, gold plated accessories and hand embroidered garments.

almaMía not only cares about the design of unique pieces but also the comfort of its clients; that’s why, it has been innovating in special features to allow all body types to look good in their garments: pantyhose with gathered in the back to improve the last, removable cups and silicone bands on the strapless tops to prevent slipping.
